Reflections on a Life
My latest Frederick Douglass painting imagines memories that may have floated through the mind of this greater thinker: a childhood tainted by the horrors of slavery, the plight of his fellow brethren, his beloved wife Anna and the sailboats on the Chesapeake Bay that inspired him to strive for freedom. His words and past actions still speak to us today The original oil painting is 24 x 36".
