About Your Prints
Creating a Fine Art Print
I have partnered with a reprographics company in my area to create archival prints that match my original oil paintings in color and spirit.
Scanning. The first step in print production is to scan my original art with a CRUSE scanner. Used by museums and galleries worldwide, CRUSE scanners are equipped with state-of-the-art technology to digitize and reproduce original art in high fidelity. Once I approve the scan, it’s ready to print.
Printing. Fine art prints are produced with a Canon iPF 9400, a large format inkjet printer with archival inks. The iPF has a resolution of 2400x1200 dpi, which means that the printer can produce very detailed and sharp prints. Unlike regular inks that can fade or discolor over time, archival ink is designed to last for generations.
Fine Art Prints on Paper. Each of my fine art prints is printed on Lexijet Sunset Satin photo paper. This paper achieves more vivid colors and better uniformity on a noticeably whiter sheet.
Fine Art Prints on Canvas. Of course you can request any print on canvas. You can choose between a gallery wrapped stretched canvas or unstretched canvas for a less expensive shipping option. If you would like a print on canvas, please use our contact form to create your special order in a size that fits your space perfectly—or call me at 508-951-6993
Delivery Times. Fine art prints on paper are shipped in 2 to 5 business days. Prints on canvas take about two weeks.
